Drying equipment industry to discuss opportunities and challenges

On July 30, the first annual industry conference of the Drying EQUIPMENT Branch of China General Machinery Industry Association was held in Beijing. The conference summarized the development history of the drying equipment industry for nearly 40 years, discussed the opportunities and challenges faced by the development of the drying equipment industry, the demand for drying equipment in the petrochemical industry, and the green development and intelligent manufacturing of the drying equipment industry in China.

Huang Wei, president of China General Machinery Industry Association, stressed that with the construction of China's large-scale refining and chemical integration project, natural gas supply equipment, LNG receiving station, gas storage/reservoir, and the country's energy conservation and environmental protection requirements China's drying equipment industry has huge market space. At present, the industry's independent innovation capability is insufficient, and independent innovation products are lacking. In addition, the industry's own overcapacity and the phenomenon of “selling by the times” still exist, and the resistance of equipment localization still exists. She suggested that the industry should focus on solving the problem of innovation capability and form a synergy. At the same time, it must improve product quality and improve product structure to achieve high-quality development of the industry.

The conference commended Shandong Tianli Drying, Tianhuayuan, Changzhou Fanqun Drying, Changzhou One Step Drying, etc., as well as Shandong Tianli Energy T-tube steam rotary dryer, Tianhuayuan drum pressure filter and other innovative products. . Liu Xiangdong, head of the drying technology professional group of the China Chemical Industry Association, released the "China Dry Industry Report" (2017) on behalf of the drying equipment industry. The report was first released in China.

A luggage carrier, also commonly called a rack, is a device attached to a bicycle to which cargo or panniers can be attached. This is popular with utility bicycles and touring bicycles.

Bicycle luggage carriers may be mounted on the front or rear of a bicycle. The rear mount is more common. Racks on the front are mostly reserved for utility and freight bicycles. A special type of front rack is a low rider which is mainly used for bicycle touring.

Luggage carriers are commonly constructed from aluminum, steel, or some combination of the two. Components may consist of tubing, extrusions, or castings. They may be welded, riveted, or bolted together.

Some bikes, depending on their intended use, may be built with an integrated luggage carrier. The Schwinn Phantom and many longtail bicycles, such as the Xtricycle incorporate a rear rack, and Porteur bicycles include a front platform rack.

Panniers may be mounted to front and rear luggage carriers. Removable panniers hook onto the top edge of the carrier and then are held in place by a spring or elastic cord that hooks near the wheel axle at the bottom. Some luggage carriers have an extra, lower, rail to hang panniers on, this provides better stability and more space on the platform.

In Europe it is common for Rear Racks to have a mounting point for a reflector or rear light. It is common for the mounting point to have 2 holes which fits M5 bolts, spaced 50 or 80 mm apart.
