The main content of this proposal is divided into three categories: natural gas chemical industry, petrochemical industry, fine chemical industry and other chemical industry. Among them, there are 48 projects for natural gas chemicals, 30 projects for petrochemicals and downstream products, and 27 projects for fine chemicals and other chemicals. If these three major categories of major chemical projects are implemented, they can form a functional polymer material industrial cluster with five major general-purpose thermoplastic engineering plastics, and a basic organic chemical raw material industry cluster mainly composed of methanol and derivatives, with high ammonia as the leading factor. Concentration fertilizer industry clusters, salt gas chemical industry clusters based on polyvinyl chloride and methane chlorides, and fine chemical industry clusters based on paints, pharmaceutical intermediates, and pesticide intermediates. It will promote the establishment of a chemical industry in Chongqing as a pillar industry, gradually solve the problem of industrial emptiness in the Three Gorges reservoir area, and accelerate the adjustment of the chemical industry structure and regional structure.
