The National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Beijing on January 8. In the published list of the 2007 National Science and Technology Awards, the “Submersible Pump Theory and Key Technology Research and Promotion Application†project won the second prize of the 2007 National Science and Technology Progress Award.
It is understood that submersible pumps are mechatronics irrigation and drainage machinery products, widely used in agriculture, water conservancy, environmental protection, municipal and other industries. The project has researched and developed a series of submersible pumps, submersible sewage pumps, submersible shafts/mixed flow pumps and submersible pumps for more than 400 types of submersible pumps. The comprehensive technical indicators are at the international advanced level and have achieved great Economic benefits and good social benefits. The project lasted for 20 years and led the national submersible pump industry from more than 10 production enterprises in the mid-1980s, with an annual output of less than 100,000 units, and has grown to nearly 1,000 production enterprises with an annual output of more than 10 million submersible pumps. Created a submersible pump industry that continues to grow and prosper.
