The first megawatt wind turbines were shipped

On November 15th, good news came from Zhuzhou CSR Motor Co., Ltd., the core enterprise of Zhuzhou Wind Power Industry Base. The first batch of 2 megawatt direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous wind turbines passed the quality inspection and reached the international advanced level. It was sent to the Dacheng City wind farm in Xinjiang for operation.

In July last year, CSR Electric Company became the supporting supplier of wind turbines of Xinjiang Goldwind Technology Co., Ltd., the largest wind power company in China, with its internationally advanced traction motor and transformer technology.
The megawatt wind turbine is a highly competitive wind energy equipment with a global installed capacity accounting for 85.6% of the total installed capacity of the new wind turbine.

In July this year, “CSR Motor” won the contract for the production of 50 sets of wind turbines for Xinjiang Jinfeng Technology Co., Ltd., and became the largest wind turbine manufacturer in China. It is understood that 50 megawatt wind turbines will be delivered by the end of next year.
