A total of 13 coal chemical and natural gas chemical projects have been included in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region this year. The total construction scale is 905 million tons of methanol per year, including 7.85 million tons of methanol from coal and 1.2 million tons of methanol from natural gas. 10,000 tons, and strive to reach 8 million tons. Chlor-Alkali Chemical focuses on promoting 8 projects, with a construction scale of 2.22 million tons of polyvinyl chloride, and ensuring the start of 2 million tons within the year.
At present, among the 13 coal chemical and natural gas chemical projects, 5 projects have started construction with a total scale of 3.5 million tons of methanol annually. The five projects are Inner Mongolia Three-dimensional Co., Ltd. Annually producing 200,000 tons of coal to methanol, Yihua Group producing 1 million tons of natural gas to make methanol, and Tianye Chemical to produce 200,000 tons of natural gas to make methanol. Shandong Jiutai Inner Mongolia Company's dimethyl ether phase I project , Inner Mongolia Duolun Datang Coal Chemical Project. It is expected that there will be six projects that can be started during the year, and the proposed scale is to produce 4.05 million tons of methanol annually. The remaining two projects are planned to have an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of methanol, which is expected to start next year.
Of the 8 chlor-alkali chemical key projects, 5 projects were started with a total capacity of 1.76 million tons of polyvinyl chloride per year. These projects are: Inner Mongolia Sanlian Chemical's annual output of 240,000 tons of PVC project, Yili Group 1 million Tons of PVC project, Inner Mongolia Chenhongli Group's annual output of 100,000 tons of PVC project, Inner Mongolia Yellow River Chemical's annual output of 50,000 tons of PVC project, and Jilin Salt Group's annual output of 400,000 tons of PVC project.
In addition, the Ordos Group's annual output of 600,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 1.04 million tons of urea fertilizer has entered the preliminary design stage. The project plans to invest a total of 2.6 billion yuan to introduce Korean equipment. The first ship equipment is expected to arrive in November. The annual production of 200,000 tons of natural gas liquefaction project by Hong Kong Nova Energy Company, Ordos City, has started construction.
