Here are some stunning photos and a video capturing the intense 4-alarm apartment fire that broke out in Oak Park on Tuesday night.

On October 20, 2015, around 9:30 PM, Oak Park Engine 620 arrived at a four-story apartment complex where flames were bursting from the roof. Shortly after, they called for a box alarm. Firefighters attempted an interior attack but quickly faced water pressure issues and had to pull back due to the overwhelming size of the fire. They then requested a second alarm and deployed truck companies, aerials, and master streams to contain the blaze. Oak Park 631 was stationed on side A, River Forest 219 on the A/B corner, Cicero Truck 2 on the C side, Berwyn 904 on the D side, and Chicago Truck 29 on the A/D corner working alongside active water flows. The fire spread across all four floors, creating significant exposure risks on the C side.
