Kent Automotive Electronics Designs Temperature Sensor for Valeo

More and more auto parts companies in Wuhan are participating in the design of global auto parts. Recently learned from Hubei Kaite Automobile Electronic and Electrical System Co., Ltd. that in the assessment of Valeo Group global temperature sensor design supplier qualification, the company scored high scores and became China's first company to obtain this qualification. This means that Wuhan's local auto parts companies have entered the international arena and the cooperation with vehicle manufacturers in various countries has entered the design stage.

Valeo Group is headquartered in France and is dedicated to the design, development, production and sales of automotive parts, systems, and modules. It is a top-ten global automotive supplier in Europe and a top-five automotive supplier in Europe. The factory provides supporting facilities and has a turnover of over 100 billion yuan worldwide. The group’s industry status has made its production standards available to multinational auto parts manufacturers.

The Valeo Group annually screens potential companies worldwide for review. In cooperation with Wuhan University of Technology, the company established the Sensing Technology Research Center. The product temperature sensor has the largest domestic market share and won the Valeo Group's favor.

According to industry figures, with the growth of Wuhan's auto business, the search for a partner in the supply of international auto parts will help increase the production capacity of local auto parts companies in Wuhan and reduce the cost of vehicle production. This also reminds Wuhan's lack of R&D-capable parts and components companies that it is only possible to move away from “making products for drawings” to the international stage.
