Photos of the new Park Ridge Engine 35 from Bill Smaha:
The new Engine 35 is a Pierce Enforcer equipped with a 500-gallon tank and a single-stage Hale pump capable of delivering 2,000 gallons per minute. This upgrade marks a significant improvement in firefighting capabilities for the department. The 1995 Pierce Dash will be retired from the fleet, making way for the newer models to take over its duties.Currently, the 1996 Dash remains in service as Engine 36, operating without a crew, while the 2005 E-One has been placed into reserve status as E35R. This transition reflects the ongoing modernization efforts of the Park Ridge Fire Department.
