At present, the export volume of auto parts and components that account for 65.5% of the country's total exports amounted to less than US$10,000, resulting in “scattered, chaotic, and poor” exports of auto parts.

China's auto parts export products are mainly products with low technological content, low added value, labor-intensive or material-intensive products.

The biggest bottleneck for China's auto parts industry entering the global procurement industry is the lag in information dissemination channels and efficiency. In foreign countries, the usual practice is to use “industry associations, peer evaluations, intermediary agencies, professional newspapers, magazines, and business networks” to “boost bottlenecks,” and at the same time invite world-renowned consulting firms to assist implementation and supervision.
