On January 24, 2021, around 6:00 AM, Stickney Engine 1203 responded to a single-family home on Wenonah Avenue at 4225. The structure was a 1.5-story house with visible smoke coming from the first floor. Upon arrival, Engine 1203 deployed a 1.75-inch pre-connect and quickly located a fire on the ground level. The incident highlights the quick response of local firefighters who were able to contain the fire before it could spread further.
