· Brilliance BMW recalled some 530Le cars totaling 2001

According to the website of the General Administration of Markets and Regulations, a few days ago, BMW Brilliance Automotive Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall and the Implementation Measures for the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall Management. Starting from June 29, 2018, some domestic Brilliance BMW 530Le cars produced during the period from March 6, 2017 to April 27, 2018 will be recalled, totaling 2001 units.

Due to the design and assembly errors of the fuel pump return pipe of the vehicle within the scope of this recall, the two oil seals in the joint may be damaged, resulting in the joint not being adequately sealed. The defective return pipe may leak fuel when the fuel pump is running, which increases the risk of fire of the vehicle and presents a safety hazard. BMW Brilliance Automotive Co., Ltd. will replace the improved fuel pump return pipe for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards.

BMW Brilliance Automotive Co., Ltd. will notify the owner of the vehicle by registered mail.
