Still & Box Alarm fire in Chicago, 1/6/17

I’ve shared a few photos taken by my daughter Heather Garcia, who lives close to the fire scene. These images were captured on Friday afternoon at the Still & Box located at 11661 S. Western Ave. The situation looked serious, and it’s clear that the fire was quite intense.

I managed to get a look at the Still & Box at 11661 S. Western Ave. on Friday afternoon, but I only had my phone to take pictures. From what I saw, the fire started in the garage attached to the back of the house and then spread into the main structure on both levels. It looks like Squad 5 was out of service, so they had to bring in an extra unit to handle the situation.
