The corrosion resistance of aluminum in air is excellent because its surface is oxidized to form an AI2O3 film having a thickness of 5 to 2,000, and the film is dense, thereby preventing further oxidation inside thereof. However, in the environment of H2, CO, and CO2, the presence of the film is difficult. Because the oxide film is washed and collided by strong airflow and tiny impurity particles, the integrity of the film will definitely be damaged, and without the oxidizing agent repairing the film, the corrosion resistance of aluminum will be completely lost and become easy to react. The active metal is then attacked by corrosives.

Since the raw material gas inevitably carries water vapor, after compression and cooling, a liquid phase is generated, and the CO 2 is dissolved into a carbonic acid solution. Although the carbonic acid solution is weakly acidic, it is extremely unstable, and is easily decomposed by heat, but is in the compressor. When the gas valve is in the state of air intake, the medium temperature is at a low temperature of 25-35 °C, and the chemical reaction CO+H2OH2CO3+Q shifts to the direction of carbonation, which creates conditions for the corrosion of the gasket. At the exit of the compressor, because the medium is compressed and the exotherm is raised to 100-120 ° C, it is impossible to completely decompose the carbonic acid, and the CO 2 exists in the gas phase, so that corrosion does not occur, which also illustrates the valve gasket. The cause of a sheet failure accident only occurs at the intake valve.
