The National Standard for Light Truck Series Special Vehicles will be postponed

According to the news from the environmental protection department, the state-standard for heavy-duty diesel vehicles will be implemented on schedule from July 1. However, due to the fact that domestic oil supply cannot meet the requirements, the national standard for the implementation of the fourth national standard for light-duty diesel vehicles, which account for nearly half of the diesel vehicle fleet, will be implemented. Will be postponed again, and the specific implementation time is uncertain. Then, the dilemma of atmospheric pollutant emissions caused by "vehicle oil out of synchro- nization" still cannot be solved.

According to sources, the technology adopted by the National IV light-duty diesel vehicle is only applicable to diesel with a sulfur content of 50ppm (National Standard), and 350ppm (National Standard) diesel is not supplied to the country until July 1 this year. When the supply of diesel oil is nowhere in the country, current oil products cannot meet the requirements of diesel engines and exhaust gas after-treatment devices under the new standard.

This is the second time that the national standard for light diesel vehicles has been postponed. The National Standard for Light-duty Diesel Vehicles, promulgated in 2005, stipulates that the type approval of the fourth stage shall be implemented from July 1, 2010. From the year after that date, that is, from July 1, 2011, all manufactured and sold lightweight Vehicle emissions must meet the requirements of this standard.
