The biggest highlight of the VGT technology is that its supercharger can change the cross-sectional area, which is equivalent to changing the size of the turbocharged turbine. When the speed is low, the turbocharger will use a smaller cross-sectional area, even if the speed is very low, the turbine can be started smoothly, which greatly eases the turbo lag. At high speeds, the turbocharger will use a larger cross-sectional area, which can greatly increase the boost value, thereby increasing the maximum power and torque of the engine.
According to reports, the Cursor13 engine cylinder body follows the proven reinforced structure of the Fiat Power Technology Industrial C Series. The six-cylinder design with four-valve and overhead camshaft ensures the overall strength of the engine. In addition, C13 uses a new ribbed cast cylinder with a rear gear train to further reduce the already very low engine noise, vibration and harshness (NVH), resulting in further improvement in driving comfort. . Another key technology of Cursor13 is to use the latest generation of common rail system to achieve the economical combustion of fuel. Its high-pressure injection guarantees fuel economy and smooth running. In addition, Cursor13's cutting-edge common rail technology optimizes the vehicle's payload; at the same time, the compact layout reduces engine dead weight and space occupation, thereby effectively reducing operating costs and increasing the user's operating power.
