The sealing machine is a machine that seals the container filled with the packaging. After the product is loaded into the packaging container, in order to keep the product sealed, keep the product quality and avoid product loss, the packaging container needs to be sealed. This operation is Capping machine completed. Refers to the machine that seals the container after it is placed in the packaging container. There are many materials used to make packaging containers, such as paper, plastics, glass, ceramics, metals, composite materials, etc., and the shape and physical properties of packaging containers are also different. Therefore, the type of sealing and the sealing device used are also different.

Sealer classification

Generally according to the mechanical properties of packaging materials, it can be divided into the following two categories:

(1) Flexible container sealing device

The flexible container is a pouch type container made of a flexible material such as paper, a plastic film, a composite film or the like. The sealing of such containers is mostly combined with bag making and filling, and is rarely used independently. Due to different materials, the sealing devices are not the same.

1 paper bag sealing device. For paper materials, the adhesive is generally applied at the seal and then mechanically sealed.

2 plastic film bag and composite film bag sealing device. Many plastics have good heat-sealing properties. Plastic bags or composite bags made of such plastics are generally heated directly at the sealing area and subjected to mechanical pressure to fuse and seal them.

3 cups container closures. For example: common soy milk cups, tea cups, etc. The cups are bonded to the film by heating to seal the container.

(2) Rigid container sealing machine

The rigid container refers to a container whose shape is not easy to change after the container is molded. The cover of the container is often a different type of cover. Commonly used sealing machines include the following types.

1 Cap sealing machine. This type of cap has previously been machined with internal threads. The threads have a single or multiple heads. For example, multi-purpose single-headed bottles are used for medicine bottles and multi-headed threads are used for cans. The machine is to close the lid by rotating it.

2 rolling sealer. This type of cover is mostly made of aluminum and has no thread in advance. The aluminum cover is rolled with a roller, so that the thread is exactly the same as the shape of the thread of the bottle, and the container is sealed. When the cover is unsealed, the indentation along the periphery of the skirt will be broken, and it cannot be restored, so it is also called a "stolen cover." This machine is mostly used for high-end wines and beverages.

3 edge sealing machine. It is to put the cylindrical metal cover on the bottle mouth first, roll the bottom edge with the roller, make it distort and deform, close the flange of the bottle mouth and seal it. This machine is mostly used for sealing packages such as wide-mouth cans.

4 Cap sealing machine. It is a crown cap sealer for beer, soft drinks and other beverages. The crown cap is placed on the bottle mouth, and the press mold of the machine is pressed down. The corrugated periphery of the crown cap is squeezed and shrunk, and it is stuck on the flange of the neck of the bottle neck, causing the mechanical hook between the bottle cap and the bottle mouth. This will seal the bottle.

5 pressure plug sealing machine. The sealing material is a cork made of a material having certain elasticity such as rubber, plastic, cork, etc., and uses its own elastic deformation to seal the bottle mouth. When the machine is sealed, the bottle stopper is placed above the bottle mouth, and the sealing package is achieved by pressing the bottle plug into the bottle mouth by the vertical pressure of the bottle stopper. The tamper seal can be used either as a separate seal or as a combination seal with the cap.

6 crimping sealing machine. This machine is mainly used as a seal for metal food cans. It uses a roller to seal the package around the perimeter of the can lid and can body flange by crimping, hooking, and crimping each other.

(3) Automatic Filling and Sealing Machine

It is mainly used for the filling of plastic cups, plastic boxes and plastic bottles, and the production of composite film sealing products for corresponding materials. If the frozen, juice, milk, yogurt, beverages, fast food and other materials filled and sealed. It can be used for filling liquids and pastes of different viscosities and can be used for packaging containers of different shapes and capacities.
