Ningxia Highway passenger and cargo traffic steadily increased

From January to October, the region’s total road transport volume reached 129 million passengers, and the passenger turnover was 6.603 billion person-kilometers, an increase of 7.66% and 10.17% year-on-year respectively. The volume of goods transported was 261 million tons, and cargo turnover was 56.433 billion tons. The year-on-year increase was 11.27% and 14.92% respectively.

From January to November, the region’s road transport transported a total of 142 million passengers, and the passenger turnover was 7.289 billion person-kilometers, an increase of 8.18% and 10.15% year-on-year respectively. The volume of goods transported was 293 million tons, and the cargo turnover was 63.183 billion tons. The year-on-year increase was 12.02% and 15.09% respectively.
