The LW series centrifuge is a high-performance mechanical device designed for continuous separation of materials with density differences in suspensions, utilizing the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. Its core working mechanism involves the simultaneous rotation of the rotating drum and the material conveying spiral at a specific differential speed. The suspension is continuously fed into the internal barrel of the spiral pusher through a feeding pipe, where it is accelerated and introduced into the rotating drum. Under the influence of the centrifugal force field, heavier solids settle as residue. The spiral pusher then continuously moves these solids toward the tapered end of the drum. After dehydration in the drying zone, the solid material is discharged through internal liquid loops, while the liquid overflows from the large-end overflow port and exits via the liquid outlet. This entire process—feeding, sedimentation, separation, dehydration, and discharge—can be carried out seamlessly at full speed.
The LW centrifuge offers several advantages, including a compact design, continuous operation, stable performance, strong adaptability to various materials, high throughput, and easy maintenance. It is suitable for separating suspensions containing solid particles larger than 0.005 mm, with a strength range between 2 and 40.
