It is reported that CNHTC Bearings and Bearing Units will be produced by SKF's new plant in Jinan, China. SKF's new plant in Jinan has an investment of approximately 590 million Swedish kronor. The plant covers an area of ​​16,000 square meters and will be fully operational in the first half of 2012. Initially, approximately 500 employees will be recruited. The seals will be produced by the SKF China Wuhu plant.

The strategy is consistent with China’s “Twelfth Five-Year Plan.†SKF's new Jinan plant is scheduled to be operational in early 2012, during SKF’s supply of some products to CNHTC and other Chinese truck and trailer manufacturers. Jinan's new plant will play a decisive role."
It is understood that SKF's business in China can be divided into two parts: industrial business and automotive business, with their respective sales teams and production units. The scope of business covers SKF's five technology platforms, namely: bearings and bearing units, seals, lubrication systems, mechatronics and services. Currently, SKF has 11 manufacturing plants and service units in China. With a sales team that spans the country and more than 150 distributors, SKF can better get closer to customers and provide our products and services. At present, SKF employs more than 4,000 people in China.
