The Two-Sided Vertical Expander from Reta is a high-performance machine designed for efficient and precise expansion, flaring, and refaring of tubes in a single stroke. This vertical arrangement allows for smooth loading and unloading of workpieces using hydraulic lifting operations, making it ideal for industrial applications that require speed and accuracy.
The length adjustment for the second expansion is controlled via a motor reducer, sprocket, and chain system that synchronously rotates the threaded bar. This threaded bar is connected to an encoder, allowing the length change to be displayed on the PLC terminal screen, ensuring accurate and real-time monitoring.
The lower support between the two control end plates can move up and down synchronously through a motor and worm gear box with a hydraulic lock. An optional rotary encoder on the lower threaded bar enables length changes to be shown on a touch screen, offering enhanced user control and convenience.
The expanding rods are quickly fixed with a pneumatic lock and equipped with a protective device that automatically stops the operation if the rod bends or encounters an unexpected situation, preventing damage and ensuring safe operation.
The receiver features a locking structure that prevents it from being pulled out during unloading and makes it easy to switch between different specifications. For added convenience, an air cylinder can be installed to lift the workpiece (only applicable for single working stations).
The door is constructed using a composite structure of steel and aluminum, offering durability and lightweight performance. The machine is also equipped with dual guide systems—guide columns and slide rails—ensuring excellent rigidity and stability throughout the entire unit.
The entire template is manufactured using an imported machining center, ensuring high precision and interchangeability when changing specifications. This makes the machine adaptable to various production needs without compromising quality.
For models with an expander length exceeding 1600mm, a manual door is provided for coil loading and unloading, along with an optional 84° inclined assembly rack. If the coil length is less than 1200mm, a manual work door is used instead. Note that corresponding holes may need to be reduced for manual doors.
