The Two-Sided Vertical Expander from Reta is a high-performance machine designed for efficient and precise expansion, flaring, and refaring operations in a single stroke. Its vertical structure allows for easy loading and unloading of workpieces through hydraulic lifting, making it ideal for industrial applications where speed and accuracy are essential.
The second expansion length adjustment is achieved using a motor reducer, sprocket, and chain system that drives the threaded bar synchronously. This threaded bar is connected to an encoder, allowing the length change to be displayed on the PLC terminal screen, ensuring accurate and real-time monitoring during operation.
The lower support between the two control end plates is equipped with a motor and worm gear box with a hydraulic lock, enabling synchronized lifting and lowering. An optional rotary encoder on the lower threaded bar can also display the length change on a touch screen, offering enhanced flexibility and control.
The expanding rods are quickly fixed with a pneumatic lock and protected by a safety device. If the rod bends unexpectedly, the protective mechanism will automatically stop the operation to prevent damage. This feature ensures long-term reliability and reduces maintenance costs.
The receiver features a locking mechanism that prevents it from being pulled out during unloading, while also allowing for quick specification changes. For added convenience, an air cylinder option is available to lift the workpiece, though this is only suitable for single working stations.
The door is constructed using a combination of steel and aluminum, providing both durability and lightweight performance. This design ensures ease of use while maintaining structural integrity.
The Vertical Expander is equipped with two guide systems: a guide column and a slide rail. These systems ensure smooth and stable movement, contributing to the overall rigidity and precision of the machine.
All templates are manufactured using imported CNC machines, ensuring high precision and interchangeability when changing specifications. This makes the machine highly adaptable to different production needs.
For models with an expander length exceeding 1600mm, an inclined 84° assembly rack can be optionally installed alongside the standard manual door for coil loading and unloading. For shorter coils (under 1200mm), a manual work door is provided. Note that the number of holes may need to be adjusted accordingly for manual doors.
