Circulation Reaction Produces Phosphorus Oxychloride Project Through Appraisal

The phosphorus oxychloride and oxygen are used as the raw materials and developed by the senior engineer Longfei of Shenyang Chemical Research Institute. The phosphorus oxychloride project is produced using the circulation reaction technology. The project was recently approved by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

Experts believe that compared with the traditional kettle-type reaction technology, the innovation of the production process of phosphorus oxychloride using the circulation reaction technology is that the reaction time is shortened by 1/5 and the product quality is improved; the unit consumption of phosphorus trichloride is reduced by 7.5. %, the consumption of oxygen is reduced by 56%; the product distillation process is omitted and energy consumption is saved; the production process achieves zero discharge of “three wastes”.

The 10,000-ton automatic control device currently built using this technology has been operating steadily for one year and has achieved significant economic and environmental benefits.
