The NCH6 butyraldehyde and octenal gas phase hydrogenation catalyst developed and researched by the Institute of Nanhua Research recently passed the appraisal sponsored by Sinopec Corp. The catalyst has leading advantages in terms of selectivity and adaptability to high-load production. Currently, it has achieved industrial mass production at the Nanhua Research Institute.
This new type of gas phase hydrogenation catalyst has good hydrogenation activity, stability and selectivity. The catalyst preparation process is mature and reliable, the product quality is stable, and the safety and waste disposal meet the relevant national standards. The results of industrial application show that after using this catalyst, the aldehyde conversion rate of the device is 100%, and the yield of crude alcohol is more than 99.2%, both reaching and exceeding the design index.
