Petrochemical equipment and technology become the focus of research and development

The National Development and Reform Commission formally released the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan for Major Technical Equipment Development and Special Industrial Technology Development Special Plan" issued on February 19. It is proposed that China will develop eight major technical equipment and develop four major industrial technologies to win the "ten." The gradual change of core technology and key equipment at the end of the 1st Five-Year Plan is entirely dependent on the passive situation introduced by foreign countries and promotes the optimization and upgrading of China's industrial structure. "Planning" shows that most of China's "Eleventh Five-Year" research and development of major equipment and technology, and most of the petrochemical industry-related.
Of the 8 major technical equipments identified by the Plan, 4 involve petrochemicals. First, large-scale long-distance pipelines for oil and gas transmission equipment; second, large-scale ethylene equipment of one million tons, focusing on the development of large-scale extrusion granulation units, cracking gas compressor units, propylene refrigeration compressor units, large-scale ethylene cold boxes, and large ethylene crackers. Furnace quenching boilers, 10,000 square meters of large plate and shell heat exchangers, polyethylene gas phase reactors and other key equipment, as well as large-scale refined terephthalic acid complete sets of equipment; Third, large-scale coal chemical complete sets of equipment, will focus on the development of powder coal gasification technology Equipment, large-scale gasifiers, special anti-corrosion pumps and valves, control systems, etc., large-scale methanol low-pressure oxo-synthetic acetic acid complete sets of equipment, large-scale empty-separation equipment; fourth, new-type ships and offshore petroleum engineering equipment, will focus on the development of new types of 80,000 cubic meters. Large-scale liquefied gas carriers above 160 meters, 160,000 to 200,000 cubic meters of large-scale thin-film LNG carriers, super-large marine low-speed diesel engines, and semi-submersible and vertical drum drilling production platforms for deepwater operations, deepwater floating production Storage and Offloading Vessels and Key Equipment for Offshore Platforms.
The four major industrial technologies developed include key technologies such as petroleum refining and modernization, focusing on the development of key technologies for production of coal-based olefins, dimethyl ether and other coal-based energy chemical products, and key technologies for fine chemicals, naphtha, propylene, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Such as refining and chemical production of integrated chemical refining technology, high-grade lubricants, asphalt refining key technologies, high-performance olefin production technology; 3 energy-saving and new energy, environmental protection and resource efficient development and comprehensive utilization of key technologies.
It is understood that during the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, through the digestion and absorption of self-developed and introduced technologies, a large number of common key technologies for industrial development have been captured, and breakthroughs have been made in some areas of our country. For example, the petrochemical industry has independently developed a large number of new technologies such as catalytic cracking process, heavy oil hydrodesulfurization, hydrocracking, large-scale polypropylene, ethylbenzene/styrene, etc., which has improved the technological level of China's petrochemical industry.
