New ambulance for Summit

Congratulations to Chief Wayne Hanson and the Village of Summit IL Fire Department on the arrival of their brand-new 2018 Wheeled Coach F550 Type 1 ambulance! This state-of-the-art vehicle is packed with cutting-edge features, including Whelen M Series warning lights, interior LED lighting, a Stryker Power Load system, and Liquid Spring Suspension. The interior has been designed with both ergonomics and safety in mind, ensuring that Summit FD can continue delivering top-tier emergency medical care to their community. This is the second Wheeled Coach Type 1 ambulance in Summit, and we’re thrilled to see them investing in quality and innovation once again.
