On April 22, 2006, the TWB-700 hydraulic rotary table and the VMC2000 CNC gantry milling and machining center, developed by Jiangsu Hengli Combination Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (formerly Yancheng Hongqi Machine Tool Plant), successfully passed the Jiangsu New Product Production Appraisal Meeting and Technology Identification Meeting. Organized jointly by the Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Trade Commission and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the event brought together industry experts, including Xu Wangquan, Vice President of the Jiangsu Machinery Industry Federation, Fu Dongyu, Dean of the Jiangsu Machinery Research Institute, and representatives from the China Machine Tool Industry Association, Dalian Combined Machine Tool Research Institute, and various academic institutions.
Following a detailed evaluation, the appraisal committee confirmed that both products met or exceeded international and domestic standards in terms of technical specifications and performance. The TWB-700 hydraulic rotary table marked a significant milestone as the first of its kind in China, filling a critical gap in the domestic market. Both products were deemed ready for mass production, signaling a major achievement for the company.
The appraisal committee also commended Hengli’s rapid growth under the leadership of Chairman Zhongqiu. Over five years, the company transitioned from traditional agricultural machinery to high-end industrial applications such as automotive, engineering, aerospace, mold-making, and more. Its market expanded beyond China into Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The product range evolved from low-end combined machine tools to advanced machining centers and patented technologies, reflecting a strong internal management system. Hengli has earned numerous accolades, including provincial private technology enterprise status, ISO9000 certification, and recognition as a "credit Jiangsu integrity unit."

The TWB-700 hydraulic rotary table was co-developed with Yamazaki Technology Co., Ltd. of Japan. It features a double wedge ring-ball positioning mechanism, allowing easy maintenance and operation. When not in use, the electrical and hydraulic adjustment systems are positioned at the base, simplifying access. During operation, the annular guide surface serves as the main positioning point, while steel balls on the inclined surfaces of the inner and outer rings ensure precise radial and circumferential alignment. The indexing time is between 3 to 5 seconds, with an accuracy of ±5 arc minutes and a repeat positioning accuracy of ±3 arc minutes. The table supports 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 16 stations, and the number of grooves can be customized. The table size can be increased by up to 40% without compromising performance, and it is waterproof, making it suitable for high-flow cooling applications. The design has been patented by the State Intellectual Property Office and offers high precision, ease of maintenance, and versatility for multi-process machining operations.
The VMC2000 CNC gantry milling and machining center features a precision spindle equipped with a two-speed ZF reducer, enabling high-speed and heavy-duty cutting. The Y-axis uses a 30-degree inclined rail, and the Z-axis employs a dual-moment guide ram. The machine adopts a modular design, allowing for flexible configuration with tool magazines, accessory milling heads, and CNC rotary tables to meet diverse user needs, ensuring efficient and precise machining.
